  • It has been forever since i have written on here. My sincere apologies!

It has been quite the eventful year. Many positive changes and a few scary ones as well. Still through it all God has been faithful and will continue to be.

There is far to much to write in here so if you are curious just ask and i will be more than willing to expound.

As of right now I am interning at my church in the youth department as well as taking some summer classes for college. That is my life right now and I'm loving it.

I guess that's all for now. I'll hopefully write more soon.

  • 1 Corinthians 13

    Love
1If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

As of late God has just been revealing to me how many different ways He has his hand on us, protecting us.

  • there are no words for how amazing this summer has been already.

God is doing amazing things within the youth group! every week i'm so blessed to see how much the teens are growing. I'm definitely going to Nicaragua in august. i still have quite a bit of money to raise, but God will provide! I'm going to start work in about a week. i would have liked to find a job that would have started sooner, but i'm taking it as having a month to rest and then the rest of the summer is work. I'm going to try and get a second job.

God has been showing me so many things. And answering so many prayers! He is so faithful! on that note- (johnny, you should email me sometime! i have some really good news to tell you about my friend that we prayed for the night you were at VFCC!)

time for me to go to bed... i'm helping the youth pastor and his wife get their house ready to move into tomorrow... so i'm going to need all the rest that i can get!...

  • All my mistakes
Regrettable choices I'd like to forget
    But somehow you make
All that I wasted useful again
I thought I fell from grace
    But you can't erase

    The lovely traces behind you
Turn around and you will see
    Lovely traces to remind you
    Everything that you've been through
What it took to get you to me

The picture is beginning to come together!
